A brand-new LEGO Star Wars exhibition by celebrated LEGO artist Brickman will make its world premiere at Melbourne Museum on May 4, 2025—Star Wars Day. This exhibition, the largest of its kind, will transport visitors through iconic Star Wars moments recreated in LEGO, from epic battles to massive starships and legendary landscapes.
Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught, who created Melbourne Museum’s hit Bricktionary exhibition, leads this project, with his team using over eight million bricks and 25,000 hours to craft the displays. A special sneak peek featuring a towering LEGO X-wing Red 5 model, made of 64,759 bricks, is on view from November 19 to December 2 in the museum foyer.
The exhibition also includes interactive elements where fans can help build large Star Wars scenes, create custom starships, and engage in digital LEGO space battles.
Brickman shares his excitement, saying,
“Bringing Star Wars to life in LEGO at this scale is a dream come true. My team and I can’t wait to share this galaxy-first experience with everyone.”
