Exciting updates on Andor Season 2 and more were unveiled at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Brazil. Fans got an exclusive first look at footage from Skeleton Crew and a special sizzle reel for The Mandalorian and Grogu!

Returning droid B2EMO made a memorable appearance onstage, charming the crowd by speaking Portuguese during the Showcase Panel to announce that Andor: A Star Wars Story Season 2 will premiere on April 22, 2025, with a brand-new logo for the series.

Season 1 of Andor explored a pivotal year in Cassian Andor’s life, set five years before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The upcoming episodes will bridge the remaining timeline, covering four years through three-episode arcs as Cassian transforms into a key leader in the Rebel Alliance. This season, Cassian sheds his reluctance and fights with renewed purpose to stand against the Empire.

Attendees were the first to see exclusive Andor Season 2 footage, though it has not been released online. StarWars.com captured some of B2EMO’s fun moments from the show floor for fans.

Fans in Brazil also got a sneak peek at an intense action scene from Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, starring Jude Law, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, The Mandalorian creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni sent a special video message from the set of The Mandalorian and Grogu, the next Star Wars feature film currently in production. Fans enjoyed a heartwarming sizzle reel highlighting memorable moments and a preview of the upcoming theatrical release. The footage teased thrilling scenes of Grogu and Din Djarin battling snowtroopers, a massive Imperial AT-AT in the snow, Zeb Orrelios in action, and Grogu on an adventure with two tiny Anzellans. The Mandalorian and Grogu is set to hit theaters on May 22, 2026.
